MiteFi's Financial Health Score is an educational planning indicator based on the information available in your account. It is not a credit score and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, insurance, or legal advice.

Projections and planning tools

Planning, budgeting, and goal-projection features rely on assumptions you provide (such as expected returns or contribution amounts) and the information currently in your household's MiteFi account. They are estimates, not guarantees — actual results will differ, sometimes significantly, from any projection shown.

AI-assisted features

Some MiteFi features use an AI provider (OpenAI) to extract data from documents you upload, or to generate a plain-language explanation of part of your financial picture when you request one. AI-generated content can be incomplete or inaccurate. Extracted data is presented for your review before it is applied to any record — MiteFi never changes your financial data from an AI result without your explicit confirmation. Review any AI-generated explanation or extracted data before relying on it.

Connected financial accounts

If you connect an external financial account, the account and balance information shown in MiteFi comes from our connected-finance provider and reflects that provider's data as of the last successful sync. MiteFi does not guarantee that connected data is complete or perfectly current.

MiteFi is designed to help you understand and organize your own financial information — not to make decisions for you. Every financial record in MiteFi is one you added or explicitly confirmed.
